Sabrina Desmarteaux is a Montreal artist who graduated from UQAM with a bachelor's degree in visual and media arts. Her research focuses on Montreal architecture, which she describes as a component of urban heritage, with a current environmental concern. In order to express her sense of belonging to her city, she calls on the highlights of history or simply the buildings and infrastructures that people living in Montreal encounter on a daily basis.

In his works, the accumulation of lines and geometric shapes support the complexity of the environment that surrounds us, which is in constant metamorphosis. His art aims to preserve these constructions, which are transformed over time.
